The animation was very smooth. I could watch this for HOURS. Btw, is it normal to get an erection watching this?

Very nice style.

The entire movie has an old, scratchy feel to it. I was going to try something like this once, but gave up because it seemed overwhelming to me at the time. Did you rotoscope for the animation?

I filmed the lead actor so that I could rotoscope some parts of the action, but for a lot of it I had to just keep working on the drawings until they looked right. Even in the footage I was using to rotoscope the lighting was way off and the quality of the footage wasn't great, so I had to really think about what I was doing, not just trace away. I know what you mean about it being a daunting project, the only reason I really got stuck in and did it was because I was heavily inspired by the animation festival the week before and because my friend was counting on me and I didn't want to let him down.
